Spring Fishing Opener Package

For those of you who would like to experience some early season wilderness fishing, this is your opportunity. You'll be able to fish the Moose Lake Chain and famous Basswood Lake for walleye, northern pike, and smallmouth bass (yes, our smallmouth season here is open this early!) that are prowling the spring shallows.

This package includes: cabin, boat, 15 hp motor, 6 gal gas/day/boat and 2 dozen leeches, crawlers, or chub minnows/person/day live bait in this one low price. The package is available May 10-24, 2008 and is based on a minimum stay of 3 nights and for 2 people.

$73/person/night: 4 or more people
$79/person/night: 2 or 3 people
Licenses, taxes, permits and upgrades are additional to these costs.

Fisherman's Package

We've created a new package especially for our serious anglers that includes all of our services in one package price. This weekly package runs from Saturday to Saturday and is available through our entire season. It includes the following items: cabin, 16' boat per 2 or 3 people, 25 hp motor, electric trolling motor, backrest swivel seats, 6 gallons of gas/day/boat, and 2 dz bait/person/day (leeches, chubs, or crawlers). Fishing licenses and permits are additional to these costs.

Deluxe Boat Tent Camps

This alternative to cabin accommodations allows you to camp inside the Boundary Waters wilderness with the comfort of cabin-style luxuries. Our base camps are set up on famous Basswood Lake, world renowned for its excellent fishing. Year after year Basswood Lake produces many trophy smallmouth bass, walleye, and northern pike. This scenic lake, with its numerous bays and islands, is one of the only lakes in the Boundary Waters wilderness that permits boats and motors.

From our base, the closest jumping off point to Basswood, a member of our staff will travel with you to your private campsite to set up camp and will return again for take down. Your camp includes:

• Large wall tent with comfortable cots and sleeping bags
• Screened kitchen tent with table, chairs, stove
• All camping gear
• Hearty food menu with supply of ice
• 16' boats with padded swivel seats and 15 H.P. motors
