This alternative to cabin accommodations allows you to camp inside the Boundary Waters wilderness with the comfort of cabin-style luxuries.
Our base camps are set up on famous Basswood Lake, world renowned for its excellent fishing. Year after year Basswood Lake produces many trophy smallmouth bass, walleye, and northern pike. This scenic lake, with its numerous bays and islands, is one of the only lakes in the Boundary Waters wilderness that permits boats and motors.
From our base, the closest jumping off point to Basswood, a member of our staff will travel with you to your private campsite to set up camp and will return again for take down. Your camp includes:
Large wall tent with comfortable cots and sleeping bags
Screened kitchen tent with table, chairs, and stove
All camping gear
Hearty food menu with supply of ice
16' boats with padded swivel seats and 25hp motors
